What a remarkable interview, with such a remarkable old-young soul. He fully understands the absurd cruelty and futile power struggles by 2-dimensional corporate and governmental figures (few of whom will even become footnotes in the history books), yet he still finds joy beyond tragedy, and hope in acceptance. He gives me hope...not in humanity, but in humans who are aware and still thrive.
I first came across your series when my sister in law sent it to me. She knew how much I loved Forbidden Planet. Every Friday I would head down to the old Union Square location to get a new Vertigo trade and maybe catch a movie next door. Patsy's was always the to go-to for dinner. I just realized when I went to check out the author, that I knew you! I think we hung out a bit and shared a class or two back in college at GW. You knew my best friend, Megan Dixon. I hope you are doing well and I'm looking forward to reading more of your work. Subscribed!
These are all SO GOOD. Thank you again and again for your generosity in sharing such beautiful humans with the rest of us.
These are all so good, beauty in the seemingly mundane
