This walk left me feeling like I read a novel. I felt the physical absence of Mira’s best friend, I cried with Z at the words of his teacher and I wished I lived in a stoop neighborhood. A lot to ponder in this lovely walk. Thank you Issac and Mira.

This was perfect...as though I'd just experienced a 3-act play...utterly personal and completely relevant to the broader societal moment.

Thank you so much for your writing! It inspires me to read about the interesting lives your friends have. You are giving me so much insight into humanity. I’m better able to walk in beauty after I read about one of your walks.

And now I'm crying, too! Thank you for Mira's story (and Z's). I hope he's hanging in there. And I hope Mira and her bestie can keep walking on the phone. I do that, too, with far away friends and it's the best.

What a generous conversation. As a soon to be first time mom of a baby who will be Indian and white, this hit on a lot of levels. And as someone who loves to talk things out (but also struggles to find the words to express deep emotions) Mira’s way of talking to her son feels like a starting map for me as I prepare for this huge, new responsibility. Thank you both!

I love your walk and talks. And I must say I teared up a bit too over her story with her son. It gives me hope we can have these hard conversations!

I literally just read Good Talk yesterday in one sitting, so it was very timely for me that you published this conversation today! Enjoyed it thoroughly, as I always do.

Wonderful! Don't ever stop finding people to walk/talk with, I expect this series to go on for decades.
