In a fit of stupid I somehow didn't get that you and the butter guy on twitter were the same person and my gosh the replies to you ranged from the lovely to the deranged.
Sadly. Honestly, I don't get how people don't get "the corner store near me and the corner store near you are very different things". Like here? If it doesn't have curd cheese, chips and beer it's sort of meh.
you could go for poutine again.. I have to tell you the idea of an Albertan turned Ontarian turned New Yorker being obsessed with poutine to be hysterical... I once went to one of the places that claims to have invented it (there are many) and the small poutine was big enough to give a decent sized village cholesterol problems.
Love your latest walk with Zorra, especially the pic of the two of you on the beach. (Cool shoes BTW). Your walks and the fascinating people that you invite to join you connect me here in Africa to you a long way away in New York. Would love to read your upcoming memoir - any chance of a Kindle version for those far away? Somehow it makes me think of Tender Bar, which I read and loved years ago - I always said it would make a great movie, and it has. Dirtbag could be next! (although I think you're more of a Mensch)
No lie, The Tender Bar is mentioned by name in my book. Read it in my 20s and loved it as well. Thank you so much for interest in Dirtbag, Massachusetts, and there will definitely be a Kindle version available in July. 🙏🏻💚✨
I appreciate your newsletter so much. I enjoy a couple of walks a day around our apartment building in Salt Lake City with our sweet pooch, Lily. I also have three grown kids, the two youngest live in Brooklyn. I love going to visit them and walking around there.
Your way with words and descriptions of your walks helps me feel a little more connected to my kids and the wider world in general. I'm looking forward to reading your book. Thank you for all you do to make this place better!
Always Love Zorra! And this issue of Walking It Off gave me so much joy. Thank you. I am counting the days to the book release. Are you coming to Portland, Oregon to promote the book by any chance?
I absolutely love Portland, Oregon so absolutely! If not right when the book comes out, surely for the Portland Book Festival. Thank you for reading Walk It Off! 🙏🏻💚✨

A pretty good way to describe the internet. "Lovely to the deranged." 💻📱✨

Would kill for some curd cheese! 🧀✨
