Came to say as an aspiring memoirist with a kid narrator struggling to come out, I read and reread “Dirtbag.” And your appearance on the Debbie Milman podcast was wonderful.

It does not get old reading about Columbus and the places I can easily visit. 🥰 Thank you, Maggie! I was at the Drexel Theater for the book launch. 🎉

Magnificent. Michael J Fox won an Emmy back in the day and he thanked us all for embracing ‘the Keatons of Columbus.’ I was in college in Australia, and it made me crazy to know more, so I started reading about Ohio. Then I buddied for our exchange students and got two Ohioans who taught me far more. Like Texas, so many states and cities get categorised and reduced - I thought Texas was cowboys and oil until I visited, and boy did I get a series of joyous surprises. Thank you so much for this magnificent slice of Ohio with a lyrical writer who is such a wise, wonderful, inspiring human.
